Enligt Ukraina har bara två av 24 nordkoreanska missiler ens varit i närheten av att nå sina mål...Haaretz skrev:Five ballistic missiles hit the southern Nevatim Air Base, the official said, damaging a C-130 transport plane, an unused runway and empty warehouses. Four additional ballistic missiles struck the Negev Air Base, but no significant damage was reported, he added.
According to the official, many Iranian ballistic missiles launched at Israel did not reach their destination, either due to failing during launch or malfunctioning during flight.
Similar claims were made by three U.S. officials, who told the Wall Street Journal on Monday that about half of all ballistic missiles fired at Israel - between 115 and 130 - failed to launch or crashed before reaching their targets.
There’s nothing but American timidity that explains why we don’t do that for Ukraine,” said John Herbst, a former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine and retired career diplomat.
Herbst noted that U.S., British and French forces defending Israel on Saturday only intercepted Iranian missiles and drones, avoiding any engagement with Iranian forces that might lead to a direct military conflict.

“Biden has been spooked by Putin’s constant nuclear threats,” said Herbst, the former U.S. ambassador. “We behave as if we’re not a nuclear superpower too.”
Ukraina försöker emellertid göra det bästa av situationen:Tatarigami_UA skrev:Nuclear weapons are what sets apart the response of multiple countries to missile and drone barrages by Iran and Russia. The takeaway here is clear: if you want to be taken seriously, you must possess nuclear weapons. Decades of non-proliferation efforts continue to be undermined
This year, Ukraine will both extend the range of its R-360 Neptune anti-ship cruise missiles to 1000km, and increase production tenfold!
This is reported by members of the Congressional National Defense Strategy Commission, following a visit to Ukraine and meetings with Ukraine's Minister of Strategic Industries, Alexander Kamyshin.
Israeli military says it will respond to Iran, weighing 'variety of options'
Al-Monitor skrev:Israel will respond to Iran, the country's military chief of staff said Monday, adding to concerns in Washington and the region about the outbreak of a full-blown war.
"This launch of so many missiles, cruise missiles and UAVs into the territory of the State of Israel will be met with a response," Herzi Halevi said from the Nevatim air base in southern Israel, per a statement.

The Wall Street Journal citing three Western officials reported on Monday that a response could be imminent. One official told the outlet that the United States would not participate in any such offensive. The Israeli public broadcaster Kan reported on Monday that Israel promised to inform the US before any attack so as not to endanger American forces in the region.
