Russia may have used new guided bomb to attack Ukraine's Kharkiv, local officials say
Reuters skrev:Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy condemned the attack as "Russian terror" and Volodymyr Tymoshko, head of the Kharkiv regional police, said Moscow may have used a new type of guided bomb which he described as the UMPB D-30.
"This is something between a guided aerial bomb which they (the Russians) have used recently, and a missile. It's a flying bomb so to say," Tymoshko said at the site of the strike.
Regional governor Oleh Synehubov also suggested Moscow may have used a new type of bomb, saying: "It seems that the Russians decided to test their modified bombs on the residents of the houses."
Ryssland sägs ha använt en ny typ av flygbomb i onsdagens attack mot ett bostadskvarter i Charkiv: ett mellanting mellan en guidad flygbomb och en robot.

Russian Marines Are Bolting Leftover Anti-Submarine Rocket-Launchers To Old Tank Chassis
Forbes skrev:One of Russia’s worst armored vehicles is evolving. Increasingly desperate for firepower, Russian forces last fall began bolting surplus RBU-6000 anti-submarine rocket-launchers—which normally arm naval vessels—onto flatbed trucks and MT-LB armored tractors.
[...]
An RBU-6000 ranges just a few miles, making anything carrying it vulnerable to mortars, anti-tank guns and short-range first-person-view drones—to say nothing of heavy artillery and rockets that might range tens of miles.
The Russian marine corps seems to appreciate the problem and is trying to solve it—by pairing the old launchers with old tank chassis, significantly boosting their protection. A video that circulated on social media this week depicts RBU-6000s fitted to what appear to be T-80 tank hulls.
Vad anser skribenten om denna hemmasnickrade lösning? Ny TOS-1A? Det går inte att påstå att ryssarna inte försöker, men att försöka duger inte alltid i krig!
Tyvärr
dög inte detta försök heller:

Men ryssarna bjöd åtminstone på ett ordentligt fyrverkeri!
Ultra-Rare Russian Armored VIP Escape Vehicle Spotted In Ukraine
The War Zone skrev:Russia has sent an exceedingly rare "Ladoga" armored personnel carrier to Ukraine — originally designed to provide VIP transport to Soviet officials during the Cold War should a potential nuclear, biological, or chemical attack unfold. What's more, it seems as if said vehicle has become yet another victim of a Ukrainian first-person view (FPV) drone attack, and is likely destroyed.

An initial Ladoga prototype was built at the Leningrad Kirov Plant in the early 1980s. That example is said to have been tested in various locations, including the Karakum desert in Turkmenistan. While the precise number of Ladogas produced remains murky, ostensibly only four or five were ever made, making them extremely rare and unusual.
The most famous, and possibly only, operational use of the Ladoga was during the Chornobyl disaster of late April 1986. A Ladoga with the hull number "317" was moved from Leningrad to Kyiv in early May of that year. A special detachment conducted reconnaissance at the Chornobyl powerplant in the aftermath of the incident using that vehicle until the autumn of 1986. Following the completion of that work, 317 was decontaminated and returned to Leningrad.
Den udda fågeln Ladoga är tillbaka i Ukraina, och FPV-drönare ser till att den stannar för gott. Som bekant
